Glamping on Roko Island
Experience a unique tropical Island getaway!
Simply relax and get mesmerized by the beauty of the surroundings or embark with us on one of the many excursions we have to offer.
When you’re glamping there’s no tents to pitch and no sleeping bags to unroll. Glamping is a way to experience the great outdoors without sacrificing comfort. All our tents provide a clear ocean view and are supported by timber/bamboo frames which gives it a rustic look that blends in with the natural environment of the Island. Whether or not you are first time glampers, a family looking to experience something different, a group of friends/family travelling together or a couple looking for a new experience, we hope that you will come join us on Roko Island.
Enjoy some rest and relaxation, or fun for the kids and fishing off the Island. While glamping on Roko Island you are most likely to spot our resident crocodile, several species of birds, and a variety of sea creatures swimming by the jetty. You will also have the opportunity to watch the beautiful sunset overlooking the long wooden floating jetty, relax in a hammock while reading a book or listening to music, and enjoy the cold drinks from the bar.
We also operate fishing charters and have 2 boats available with skippers and fishing guides.
Access to Roko Island is via Bamaga and Seisia. Pick up also available from Punsand Bay. Packages available from Thursday Island and Horn Island.
You can fly from Cairns to Bamaga. We can organize airport and boat transfers.
